Upcoming workshops
In 2025, Cotylédons is offering the following workshops in Villepinte, Aude (11), France. These workshops are open to everyone at a cost of 14€ par workshop. The price includes all materials and documentation. Advanced registration is obligatory.
There are three different ways to register for an atelier:

2. Fill in the inscription form online by clicking here.
3. Send an email to cotyledons@gmx.com with your name and the names of the ateliers you wish to attend.
In the three cases, you will receive an email confirming your inscription and giving you the payment details.

Plants and digestion
Saturday 17th May 2025, 2.30-4pm
Acid reflex, bloating and a swollen stomach are common digestive issues. Plants can provide relief in several ways.
By the end of this workshop, you will know:

how traditional aperitif drinks stimulate digestion

what the body needs for efficient digestion
-
which plants support the digestive system
-
what other measures you can take to improve your digestion
-
some plant formulas to help digestion
During this workshop you will receive plant information sheets as well as a remedy to improve digestion you will have made.

Garden drinks: Cordials and Liqueurs
Saturday 14th June 2025, 2.30-4pm
Plant-based cordials are a source of antioxidants and liqueurs, consumed in moderation, are known to assist digestion. It is easy to make these drinks yourself.
By the end of this workshop, you will know:

a selection of plants that can be used to make cordials and liqueurs

which is the best time to make these drinks
-
the properties and benefits of a medicinal syrup

how to make a cordial and a liqueur
-
some recipes for the use of the cordial and liqueur
During this workshop, you will receive a recipe booklet and a garden drink you will have made.

First aid kit (plants)
Saturday 13th September 2025, 2.30-4pm
Whether its an insect bite or a minor burn... first aid situations are common. Did you know that plant remedies can be part of your first aid kit?
By the end of the workshop, you will know:

how certain plants can disinfect, relieve and protect minor injuries

where to find these plants
-
in which contexts these remedies can be used
-
simple remedies you can make at home
-
other essential items to include in your first aid kit
During this workshop you will receive a list of plant remedies for your first aid kit, some recipes to make your own remedies at home and a remedy you will have made during the workshop.

First aid kit (essential oils)
Saturday 11th October 2025, 2.30-4pm
Burn, insect bite, pain… Essential oils are extremely efficient in treating minor first aid incidents. Which are the best essential oils to include in your first aid kit?
By the end of the workshop, you will know:

what the benefits of using essential oils are

how to use them safely to treat minor problems
-
how to choose a high-quality essential oil
-
which essential oils should be included in your first aid kit
-
how to make a massage oil with essential oils
During this workshop, you will receive an information sheet for each essential oil, a checklist to help you choose a good-quality essential oil and a healing massage oil you will have made yourself.

Plants for convalescence
Saturday 15th November 2025, 2.30-4pm
Convalescence is a crucial period of physical and mental rest necessary to recover from an illness, surgery or emotional trauma. Which plants can help?
By the end of the workshop, you will know:

what the body needs during a period of convalescence

10 plants which can help you back to health
-
what the role of minerals are and how to recognise a lack in certain minerals
-
which food can help your recovery
-
appropriate plant remedies
During this workshop, you will receive ten plant information sheets which include their identification and their use, remineralising plant recipes and a decoction you will have made.​
